    Well, it's time!

AFP is no longer supported and is a security risk.

Simply go to Control Panel -> Programs and Features and uninstall it.

Wait! It's still in the Control Panel but not in Program and Features. What do I do?

Finish the uninstall to completely remove it from the Panel:

There are two pages - be sure to select the correct distribution for your Windows 10 build!
Builds 1903 through 2004, x64, are listed on the second page close to the top.

Once isolated and confirmed, select Download on the far right side.

    See...

Then run it. Go back to Control Panel and the Adobe Flash listing will be removed.

    All done.

    HTH,

I'm on 20H2 (1st laptop) and 1909 (2nd laptop) so I tried the one for 1903 (x64) because the website says it's for 1903 and later. On 1909 it gave me an error message during the installation procedure: the installation failed, whereas on 20H2 it instantly gave me an error message: the update doesn't apply to my computer.

Uninstalled with Control Panel first , then used the MS-update , went very fast .
Opened Edge ........and played a small flash-game , without any problems !!
The Adobe Flash Player 32 PPAPI is gone from Control Panel..............( ???)
Tried this in VM ( lucky !) , better wait untill next CU , when MS removes it ........

The 2004 one is the one to use for 2004/20H2 as they share a common set of system files. That's the one I used sucessfully. This link will find the 2004 version in the catalog.

Whats the difference between ARM64-based and x64-based , which one to choose , if you are on x64 Win10 20H2 ??
btw , how (?) is possible ; can play flash still in Edge , while its removed in CP and with MS-update , the program folder ( x64) shows an empty Flash-folder also .........???

Seems to be a very stubborn program , this Flash-Player...........!

ARM64 is for machines with an ARM CPU, for Intel/AMD CPUs you want the x64.

Can you show a screenshot of Flash being used? Are you sure that you're not seeing HTML5 content? There shouldn't be any websites with Flash content now, they should have all switched to using HTML5.
