    How to change no. of line scrolls in Edge? [Solved]

    Line scrolling adjustments in Windows 10 have no impact on Edge which scrolls at about 4 or 5 lines at a time (others like Firefox or Vivaldi scroll at 2).

    Any way to modify this without addons?

    This Notebook I use while having morning coffee has the latest Version and Build of Win10 and the latest Version of Edge, is adhering to the Mouse settings of 1 line at a time although it is just a tad jumpy at times, appears to be during the loading of a page and smoother after that has finished. But then I see something similar in slowness with Grooves, Movies and Photos the first time they are opened after a reboot/restart, seem to be indexing the files they are associated with. After closing the apps then reopening things are faster.

    Not talking about slowness of pages scrolling, but of the number of lines the browsers scrolls through.

    Guess I should have been more blunt and asked does it happen during loading of a page or still after the page has been fully loaded for several seconds or a minute.

    @Berton - not a problem!

    Just reading this thread for example (page already loaded);
    scrolling up or down moves by a space equivalent to 4 lines.

    Changing "Choose how many lines to scroll each time" at Settings, Devices, Mouse has an immediate effect on Edge scrolling for me. Did you try setting that to 1?

    @NMI - did try before and it didn't do a thing.

    Tried it now and it works!
    Go figure...

    (Apologies to friends here).

    Think i found the problem.

    Scolling with middle mouse isn't the same as scrolling with keyboard arrows.
    The latter of which scrolls with more lines.
