    Edge Favorites delay opening

Hum, after some M$ updates my Edge Favorites drop down panel is as slow as Jobs turkey on Thanksgiving eve. I am not happy and will voice my opinion even though this forum does not like it. Anyone know why it is so slow now?

In Edge, the Favorites folder is now located at %UserProfile%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe\AC\MicrosoftEdge\User\Def ault\Favorites
Not on my watch. It's where it has been for awhile. WHy the lie?

My slow problem is because I run an old Netscape HTML menu on startup and it makes the favorite panel run slowly. I will correct that vis old school programming.

    Edge Favorites delay opening

Latest Edge stable 87.0.664.41 Favorites changed again

The Favorites have gone back to the way they looked in the original Edge. No automatic expand when you go over folders and folders will stay expanded until you click on the folder again. Change for change sake. There is also about a 1 second delay when opening Favorites.

I switched back to Chrome due to the Favorite issue. Favorites was slow to open and did not expand like it did prior to the update.

Don't know why... but it sure is. Seems like some sort of regression.
Not sure how in the world that ever made in into the stable release.

Almost seems like it was a mistake?

I tried to copy it tot he folder, but it is XHTML and for some reason it just would not go. Weird. The listing is coded in 'C' so it should have been easy to just cut and paste. Most Favorites code is plain html. They make it too complex for even an old school hacker :)

Same problem, I posted elsewhere, sorry. Also lost link to manage in icon box and slow opening favourites. Not good!

M$ took all their smart software engineers over to the political wing and the oafs behind to take care of the FREE Win-10 nerds. It is like amateur night with the code.
