After this mornings update to version 86.0.622.58 the New Tab shows me the default page, not the one that I had before.
Now I get this:
When I go into Settings > New Tab > Customise, I still get the same. ..
Before the following options were displayed
How to get this back.

Yes, all versions of Edge showing this page for me, I have sent a feedback for Canary and Beta versions, so hopefully they'll fix it soon.

Good thing I saw this topic before doing anything. I had just updated my video drivers and I thought this problem was due to that.
I'm getting the same, also i get a cookies pop up that (the manage preferences bar) on the bottom of the page that just keeps sliding up like it's stuck in a loop.
I don't want Microsoft's ugly picture on my New Tab page, i suspect it's to do with Microsofts end and not Edge itself, i restored to an earlier image (older browser version) it to had altered.
I'm still getting the cookies pop-up, which unless I manage preferences or agree won't let me customise. This didn't happen before.
I can still use the entry bar at the top (which is set to google) to ignore Microsoft / Bing though, so that's good. I'm trying really hard to like Edge, then they pull stuff like this.
Matter solved all of sudden ...
Edge version number did not change though/
Anyway, happy got the customized new tab back.
