    Chromium based browsers: STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION

    Hi,

I have been having this issue and it's really getting frustrating for me. It's a really stubborn problem.
    Things I've tried:
    1. Updating Chrome
    2. Renaming chrome.exe to something else
    3. Clearing cache and cookies
    4. Disabling steam running on startup (apparently this was a solution for some people in the Google forum? Not for me.)
    5. Signing out of my user profile in chrome.
    6. Disabled all extensions (I'm supporting content creators now, yay!)

It's such a strange issue that I have no idea how to solve. I have never had an issue like this.

Also, 90% of the time when this happens, it'll be in the middle of watching a YouTube video. Or maybe I just spend all my time on YouTube. Who knows.

If your running win version 2004, I can easily believe all your problems. I upgraded and got whacked. I fixed Chrome by going back to 1909.
Cause web googling my errors I found no solutions, except too bad your out of luck. Likely you may need to wipe windows and do a fresh install. You can do that inside windows and download a fresh copy and start over.

I probably should have included the Windows version in the OP, but I'm on 1909.

This is happening after a fresh install, so I'm really stumped.
