edge cant bing, or youtube, gives reset error or ssl error

It went from edge error to chrome error was a similar error, google product forum also not working, google searches worked. Tried many things to fic Chrome following web advice. Finally uninstalled Chrome and all data. Installed Firefox, youtube worked. Downloaded and installed Chrome, it all works like before. Turned on sync, its all good again. However EDGE is still busted, I suppose I can live with EDGE broken and not usable. But if anyone can tell me how to repair it, thanks

Well, it came back on Chrome and now also Firefox, no youtube. No bing, and some other sites likely too.

Maybe just do a complete wipe and new install.

went to update edge and it says its corrupt, I suppose so... Maybe the drive is too. I suppose somehow all 3 browsers are connected to ssl things.

I thought I got that through widows update ?
I decided not worth the weirdness going on, so I told it to go back to version 1909.

I upgraded 3 PC today, 2 successfully, so far no issues. But this one went crazy.
I will try and apply that update to one of the successful PC and see if it is already installed. i can always try again in a few months.

Bing and youtube back to working fine, but there are some issues.
I ran SFC /scannow and it was ok
But Edge refuses to start, HOW can this be fixed, before the upgrade to 2004, it did work.
After going back its broken badly.

You know I am just the average user like most everyone is, and I dont think windows OS should be so hard.
Stuff like this, I google download edge, and it takes me to a ms web page says try it, with a button, so I try it and this happens, can it be downloaded or not? How about uninstall and reinstall? So that is how you fix things normally. MS is making so many false assumptions.

I give up completely on this OS on the drive.
I pulled out my backup sitting on my old IDE drive, booted, and going to reclone to the new SSD I had switched to, as in start over again.

I went to switch from IDE in bios to AHCI, (was working in IDE mode) so I told windows start up in safe mode, switch to AHCI in bios, reboot and got hit with my name and enter my password. I put in every password I have ever used, see I have been using PIN. I simply could not get past the screen, so I am now cloning my old drive., right this second.

A few days prior I had switched my MS password, but it refused that also, so you know what when your beaten your beaten. I want to know WHY it is asking for a password at ALL. I bet some of you are laughing hysterically.I just want it back working on 1909 like it was, just fine till I though an upgrade was a good idea.I am now into the second DAY of time messing around with this, what a time waster.
