    Firefox problem

When I go to the sign in page in Firefox 80, and click on the sign in button, I then get an endless wheel going round. How do I get past this to sign into my account?

    Thank you for looking.

Hi, suggest you try Firefox in its Safe Mode. (if unsure how, Google helps).

It is a highly complex maneuver: Hold down the shift key while clicking on the Firefox icon.

I don't know if this will fix the problem, but at least it is very unlikely to make it worse: Download a new copy of Fx, delete the existing copy and delete the Fx folder, install the new copy. As your Fx settings are in the profile, not in the program nor in the program's folder, you won't lose anything, which is why the deletions and reinstall will not affect bookmarks, add-ons, and so forth.

Download Firefox Browser — Fast, Private & Free — from Mozilla

I suggest you install the latest version of Firefox which is 81.0.1 and see if that solves the problem.

Do you know when this started?
And if so what happened before that that might have caused this?

Have you asked a question on a Mozilla/Firefox forum where the specialists are?

Doesn't seem it's not connecting - if there's no internet you get
Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.

We can’t connect to the server at accounts.firefox.com.

Can you post a link to the sign in page where you're having the difficulty?
