MS MAIL Basic Questions, Please (COPY and PASTE Questions)

    Hi folks.
Thanks for previous help. Using W10

Trying to learn how to use MS Mail. Sure is a 'convoluted" program.

    a. I would like to select a line or two in an eMail I received, and
paste it to another document, or save it on the desktop perhaps.

I don't want to use the Cntrl C and Cnrl V

I can use the left hand mouse button and select some text.
It shows up grey for what I selected. Great.

    Now what?

The right side mouse button seems to do nothing.

Thoughts on relative on how to do a copy and paste ?

Every other eMail program I know shows, all the time, a button or tab for "COPY," and for "Paste"
Can't find anything equiv. in MAIL..

Is there, or some way of showing these as all the time options, and I am, as usual, just missing it ?

    And,
how do I get MAIL to stop putting all the pop ups of incoming eMail on the desktop screen automatically as I am working ?
I don't want them to appear automatically.

    Much thanks, stay well,
    Bob

Not sure why it doesn't work for you but if I select email body text with left mouse drag then right click I get a copy function up. As for notifications, if you work full screen, you can set to not notify till you exit full screen in the notifications settings.

    Hi,

    Thanks for help.

    All set now.
I just missed it; that old age problem again, I guess.

    Thanks, stay well,

Glad to hear it. Must admit the copy block is a very faint grey box against white body of the email, easy to miss.
