Microsoft Edge Dev - Uninstall failure

I have a problem with Edge Dev. The "Modify" option is not available at all and the "Uninstall" option fails with the message "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor." I have downloaded the "msi" installer and reinstalled using that...and still have the same issue. I am running the version 86.0.608.2 (released 8.20.2020).

Does anyone have any ideas as to how to attack this issue?

Edit: Backed up data : restored 2-week old image : ran WU : restored data : uninstalled Edge Dev : problem solved...Unicorns & Rainbows...
