Deleting Edge from Window 10 version 2004

How do I delete Windows Edge from Win 10 v 2004 and stop it re-appearing?

There is no uninstall option in Control Panel \ Programs and Features.

Hi why do you want it gone? You don’t need to use it. Doesn’t take up much space. But if you really want it gone you can check this out How to uninstall Microsoft Edge from Windows

But that ^^^ doesn't get rid of it entirely - just removes the current chromium-based edition and reverts back to the original/legacy based version ... it's still there.

There is an Uninstall option in the Start menu - Start > Microsoft edge > right-click > Uninstall .... but same result as above.

Edge is an integral part of the OS, it can't be removed entirely. If it annoys you that much, just delete the icon from your Start menu (right-click on icon > More > Open file location > (delete the icon).

But be prepared, in subsequent updates, at some stage, it's likely to be restored ... MS can be bloody-minded like that.
