Update to 2004 from 1909

Windows Updates offered to update to Windows 2004 which I did, it too over 1 hour to get to the lock screen and sign in screen. The only issues I have found were that I had to personalise my background picture on the desktop and I still have the issue with Edge Chromium where many but not all videos on Facebook I get a message "Sorry, we're having trouble loading this video"


This does not happen when using Edge Classic, Chrome or on another pc running Windows 2004 and Edge Chromium so I guess it has to do with my main pc. But strange that the issue is with Edge Chromium and Facebook and no other platform like YouTube or the BBC or Films & TV app!

In Edge -

Settings > Site Permissions

Likely a Flash video that's blocked by default.

I blocked updates since 1909 update, then (now) I tried to resume the updates to 2004, when I initiated to update I got a message saying :
"Window device missing important security and quality fixes"
When I click on "check for updates" it repeats the same message over and over
as shown in the screen saved image :

If you look through the forum most can't update but a clean install works every time some software updates were needed before an update will work

Install? which install you meant? re-installing Windows 10?
Seems a registry alteration is a bit easier!

I would spend the time trying Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade first before resorting to a clean install. I was able to upgrade Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 with an in-place upgrade.
