Microsoft Edge favorites

Before the Chromium update, I could click on a favorite, and when I closed it and opened the favorites list again, the cursor would be at the last favorite I opened. Now, when I close a favorite, it goes back to the top of the favorites list. Then I have to scroll down, often to the bottom of the list. Can this be corrected to something similar to the previous method?

Hi mine has never done that so not sure how to get it to the way it was before for you but i just move the ones i use most to the top of the list.
