A replacement or a fix to MS Office Outlook 2013

The laptop I use for work has an MS Office 2013 Professional , where I used to rely heavily on MS Outlook as my email app of choice , around late 2018 and all gmail accounts I store in outlook keep failing to log and on loading them in a web browser they do tend to hint they refuse to run on such unsecured app .

Now funny enough this started to happen to Hotmail and Outlook emails too (refusing log in credentials) .

So my question is , are there certain procedures to fix this or this just means is time to upgrade my office license ?

Is there actually a better email app to rely on ?

If you would recommend an office upgrade , is it known to work smooth with Gmail or would it still be considered as an unsecured app ?

I did that as per google suggestion which worked for a bit but then suddenly i am re-asked for passwords and they wont log me in if i am using outlook despite that option being enabled so seem google became more determined to put outlook 2013 to sleep or something .

Also does upgrading to MS Outlook 2019 is still considered a less secure app ?

I do that but then now i still get the password authentication pop ups in a couple of days later , and those are so many emails , i cant just do that every few days .
