Don't think there is one, but you can tick this box to select all in your Inbox.....
...untick all the ones you want to keep, then click the Delete icon.
They will be moved to the Deleted items folder which periodically empties automatically. If you deleted something you need you can move it back to the inbox (if you don't wait too long).
Or you could just leave it alone. it's not as if you'll need the space any time soon....

I don't think you need to unthick a single item at a time if shift-clicking works? If so just simply highlight the mail from the date you want to delete and shift+click at the bottom.![]()
Yes, shift-click does work. But its a very long way to scroll down the reach the bottom. I tried in mine, I gave up after five minutes and still hadn't got to the last email.I only have 1,540 emails in my Inbox, Thomaseg1 says he. "... found over 2700 messages".
It might be easier to change the sort order to 'Oldest at the top' then use the shift-click method to delete them in batches.
Or just ignore them, I have 1TB of email storage available, and I've only used 0.2% of that so far![]()
Just fyi, I have ATT Yahoo Mail as an acct provided by my TV service provider (Uverse).
Recently could not log in to my acct. After many attempts, called AT&T and help desk stated they have been having problems with servers. Had same issue before.
tl;dr ATT Yahoo Mail is not the optimum email provider.
thanks for the input , it was a small hope.
Note Yahoo doesn't like suggestions that might constitute change.
