It's very easy. They have an app and you can disable NORD easily.
I just did and I'm back with Charter (Spectrum, I think) and when I did a search "shoes NYC" i get US-based DNSs.
I may switch to ExpressVPN.

It shows my ISP as Eli Liiy & Co but it is not correct.
If you use a VPN it masks your location and ISP so you cannot expect region specific search results.
Why use a VPN? Are you using a hotel of coffee shop Wi-FI?
There's no real need to use one inside your home.
I use a VPN out of paranoia.
May be faulty but that's it.

Thanks. I'll probably look at using a proxy server. Or another VPN, not Nord.
Basically I just don't want to be tracked. I have location off on my phone.
