Firefox Quantum & Opera unresponsive with a few video tabs open

    Well,

Just the past few days, actually since the last Win10 update, every time I have multiple windows open with videos, my browsers become unresponsive. Nothing was changed, added or deleted from my settings on both.

    HP P7-1234 Win10 Home
    Opera x64
    Firefox Quantum x64

I never changed the setting on Use Hardware Acceleration when available.

Anyone else having this issue with the above enabled?

I am using Firefox 79 BETA 6 and I have no issue with it on. It depends on your GPU and Memory. I use an RTX2080Ti Black and 64GB of ram. I do not use Opera, you can turn HWA off is settings to see if that will help.

Thanks for the quick reply. Mods thanks for moving my thread to appropriate forum. My bad.

Yes, I turned off hardware acceleration. That is what I always suggest to others to try. Weird though never had an issue before the last Win10 update. I don't think it is both Opera and Firefox issues. I've been on Win10 Home since the beginning of the Windows Insider program. I haven't change any settings, same add-ons, same AV, same anti-exploit, same anti-virus, all programs OS up to date, no malware. WTH?

AMD A6-3650 APU with Radeon HD Graphics, Quad Core 8gb RAM
Not even close to maxing out RAM, processor barely working. Task manager (performance tab)
    Xfinity IP
120 Mbps download, 20 Mbps upload.

I'll let you know in a bit if that works; usually does however.

Post was mostly for other users having same issue. Seems as though turning off Hardware Acceleration solved it.
