Outlook won't let me save in that format, but it will let me save in .txt. Here's one from this forum, but I don't think that tells you anything you don't already know.

Ok, nix that article, you've exhausted the possible solutions.

The dlls that wouldn't register - not to worry, .NET and Edge have changed a lot of things.
shdoc401 is old ... IE 4
shdocvw - is browser control (probably replaced the above dll)

mshtml though ... that might be something to follow a little further.

If there is a solution it's most likely going to be a registry mod, perhaps with replacement dlls from your pervious OS. This won't be easy for me since I don't have Outlook 2010 to test any of this.
