Thanks. That must be it. Also I read that using a private browsing window does not save session.

Maybe check out UR-Browser if you have not already done so.

Do you have any idea why this plugin shows up here:

I do not have Browser Extension Manager. That process is under Program Files (x86) brave software..
The link below may contain some information you are after, I do not know check it out.

I was just wondering - if Brave is Chromium based then why it shows up under Mozilla in the registry. Also detected as Chrome here:

The question arose because @phaedruspress wanted to know how to disable updates:

The link I posted talk about disabling bravesoftware update. Or maybe deleting that file. I'm wondering though, when one update Brave manually to keep on top with the latest, that file will probably be reinstalled.

As for the reason Brave show up on firefox and Chrome, I do not know. Maybe posting on brave community forum somebody could explain that.
I can try but not having the issues, as I don't have the apps you do, may not take me far if prompted to, elaborate, screenshots, etc.

So @phaedruspress does not want to update Brave.

I disabled updates to test and the reg entry makes no difference. I just wondered why it shows up as a Mozilla plugin in a chrome based browser. It's no big deal though.

Not updating Brave is a security risk. But ehi If Paul boy like suspense who I'm I.
There are chances of accidents even on the Royal road, that is the most well maintained by definition...

Yes it's crazy to continue to use an insecure version because a feature was removed in later versions but I've done the same in the past with Opera 12.

    Peace.
