    Brave: Need some clarification on Remote Debugging option.

    Just noted today on Brave Privacy & Security, the option Remote Debugging that is on by default. It must be an option that came with the latest version, I maybe wrong but I never notice it before.
    I did disable it as I'm not quite sure what having it On entails vis a vis to privacy.
    Do I need it On all of the time?

    Never noticed this before (and I'm very fastidious about turning off anything that has an implication of external access/interference).

    Mine is now off !!!

    @idgat, you read my mind.
    It came with the versions before the current one.

    @Callender.
    About the option: Google Safe Browsing. Is it not like the Edge SmartScreen option? I thought that Google Safe Browsing is the only one not to disable. Considering that Do Not Track is ignored by websites, and just add to the browser fingerprint visibility.
    Your feedback would be much appreciated.

    Session Restore Extras no idea. Can't find it in CCleaner. As far cleaning session it is there.

    But you may know that. How to get Brave to do that on exit I do not know.

    As far as CCleaner I do not know how to access those details as for your first screenshot.

    Keep it on if you like. I always disable it.

    Have a read:

    Disable safe browsing and prevent Firefox from sending downloaded file info to Google

    Instead I prefer:

    TrafficLight - Chrome Web Store

    or

    Malwarebytes Browser Guard - Chrome Web Store

    RE: Ccleaner options that you can't find. They are not available unless you add them.

    Latest CCleaner Version Released

    I need the option to clear session to be added.

    Then I need to know how to disable session restore in the browser.

    @Callender.
    Thanks for the links and infos. I'll look into it.
    BTW I added a screenshot to my previous post about CClener Brave session. Is that what you are looking for?

    Well currently if I log into tenforums and close the browser then relaunch it - I'm still logged in because it saves session data.
    I'd prefer that session data was:

    a) not saved
    b) cleared on closing the browser

    If not cleared then I need a way to clean it in Ccleaner.

    I can add entries to ccleaner settings file but need to know what to add.

    Apparently clean Brave session has been added in 5.66

    CCleaner 5.66 adds cleaning support for Brave browser

    I'm still using 5.65 because of the browser plugin bug.

    By click on CCleaner Brave session option, as per my screenshot, your session should be cleared when manually running CCleaner. Or at PC startup if so set. Not what you are looking forward.

    Let me know please if you do find a way to achieve: a) b).
    Thanks.

    Still trying to figure out the difference between Edge smartscreen option and Google Safe Browsing.
    I'll get there.

    I missed this.
    Just logged out from Brave while tenforums was open and restarted, Now I need to input my username etc. So Brave do log me out of session.
    These feature is it not connected to clear browsing history on Exit?
