    No history in Edge

I am now not getting any history in Edge, which is a bit of a nuisance. For a while I thought it might be due to (one of) the cleaning apps I use in my small storage Tablet PC, even tough I have deactivated that setting where I can.. It seems it is not. I have checked for history when I have neither used a cleaner or re-booted, and have started inspecting history within minutes of browsing. There is nothing there.

Two things which have added to this problem are possibly related (1) Timeline has not been behaving well and is not showing much of my activity, there is nothing shown for today yet (2) although it is supposed to be syncing I cannot get Timeline activities on my Android phone or my Tablet.

This malfunction has revealed how useful these features are, when they work

Just guessing here but did you by chance install the May 2020 update on your tablet? I installed it on one of my machines and Edge no longer remembers any passwords. The machines that are still on 1909 do not have the issue. The machine with the update also shows no history.

    Hello,

My passwords keep being removed as well. I import them from Firefox and they will get removed when I close Chromium or wake from sleep or after restart. My history as well disappeared from Edge but what I did was go to the Chrome Store and installed an extension called "Dragon Better History" and now I can see the history. There are other history extensions there as well. Hopefully MS will send out an update patch to fix these two problems. It is funny because I use Firefox as my default browser and it is being pushed to download Edge all the time. I am glad they did not mess with that. I saw that Google Chrome is also affected by the 2004 update in the same way so I removed Chrome from my computer since I have been meaning to do so because it has become a resource hog. I do not need two broken chromium based browsers t6o double my headache. I did install Ice Dragon to replace Chrome and to help until Edge is fixed whenever that will be.
