No "send to mail recipient" context submenu

I do have the "Send to" context menu entry in windows explorer but there's only Bluetooth Device listed (and I even have this turned off, go figure). There is no E-Mail Recipient like it used to in my previous Windows installation.

I've tried the 7/8 Forums recommendations but my "Send to" folders in Default and User already contain the MAPI entry. I even deleted it and re-did it according to the tutorial but to no avail.

Any other ideas? There's a fix it EXE available from some forum that fixes some Reg Entries but it was for Vista and does not work for Win10.

    Any ideas?

Just for testing purposes, have you tried setting up the built in Windows Mail client? If not can you try that? Just add one account, it doesn't even have to be the same as the one in OL 2013. Once it's done does that fix the issue?

If not, have you tried running the office repair tool? Start | Control Panel | Programs and Features | select Microsoft Office | Click change | select Repair.

I'll give Office Repair a shot. I've uninstalled Windows Mail.

turns out - once again - deleting all the shortcuts/items in the send to folder, then restoring them from the recycle bin did the trick and now all items show and are working. I wonder how crap like this does not get notices in q&a.
