Apologies if this has been asked before.
I have just upgraded to the new Edge. If I set the default search engine to Google.com everything works as it should. If I set it to Google.co.uk, a search takes me straight to a Google login with no other option.
Any help or suggestions would be most welcome.

That is correct, but if I then try to search from the address bar it takes me straight to a google account login dialog.
In screen shot I provided.....using both search bars.....and typing in newegg.com......it takes me straight to newegg websit. So it works for me.
Sorry you are absolutely right if you cut and paste. Google.co.uk has to be set as the default search engine for the problem occur.

Or at least it did. I have coincidentally uninstalled Office 365 and the problem has gone away. Goodness knows what was going on.
