    Microsoft chromium


    Hello i updated to the Microsoft Edge chromium and when windows loads up i get a page from www.guce.co.uk how can i get rid of this please it has various lines cloud server monitor and about 10 other lines cloud application monitoring,server and network monitoring

    You could try https://www.malwarebytes.com/adwcleaner/
    To check if its an adware issue and remove it

    I got the web address wrong it should have read ww6.guce.co.uk but i would have to pay 29.99 for malware bytes and i dont think its malware after checking on Spybot

    You can download the free version of Malwarebytes. Have to tried changing the home page in ME Edge?

    Did you run AdwCleaner in post #2 above ?

    You may see an ad for Malwarebytes but just disregard and click the download for AdwCleaner which is free.

    Adw Cleaner


    Hello i ran ADW Cleaner and ww6.guce.co.uk still comes back so i dont think its adware,but this has only happened after the Microsoft Edge update

    Are you saying when the browser opens that is the main page that shows? Did you check what your homepage in settings is set to? Maybe something in the update inserted that as your homepage. If so just remove it.

    Sounds like a spinoff/variation ? of the "guce advertising redirect", that was related to aol/oath/yahoo/verizon ?
