An application is requesting permission to access your Google Account

In Chrome, I imported the Xnotifier extension settings, launched my gmail account and got this message

It's possible the same thing happened using Firefox some time n the past, but I don't remember. It doesn't name the application.

Could it be the Xnotifier extension?

Yes. It can't tell you if there is email, notify you, without accessing your account.

I use the Google email checker extension. (offerred by Google)

So, just to be clear, the "yes" was a confirmation that the message i got was referring to Xnotifier?

I can't find an extension named "Google email checker". Is this the one (it's quite old)
