DuckDuckGo censors results

Of all the search engines, I'd always imagined Google + Bing to be more censorious than DuckDuckGo - indeed Google gets millions of requests a year to not list pirate material. For some reason, I thought DDG more liberal - wrong !

Today, something jogged my memory and I did a DDG search for a password cracker I used about 20 years ago (note - I am not trying to hack any pc). DDG returned this



The same search on Google + Bing just returned the usual urls.

Weird eh ?

I've used Google Search for years and have never noticed censoring problems. It often does go too far astray from the requested topic, though.
