    Firefox Bookmark Search

When I open up the bookmark manager, and do a search, how can I tell which folder the bookmark is in?

I'm not sure there is a way to search other than by eye..........so I just organize them into a series of folders that makes sense to me. And each of those folders has sub-folders. It's arranged very much like files on my hard drive. Give each folder a helpful name--"PC software", "Los Angeles restaurants", whatever.

I think the default sort in a folder is alphabetical, so you just have to navigate to the right folder and pick up the appropriately named bookmark by eye.

    You could install this addon:

Bookmark search plus 2 – Get this Extension for 🦊 Firefox (en-US)

    Shows parent folder:

    Firefox Bookmark Search-bookmarks.jpg

Or if you configure this option:

    Firefox Bookmark Search-bookmarks-2.jpg

It shows parent folder on mouse hover:

    Firefox Bookmark Search-bookmarks-3.jpg
