I backed out the latest release of Windows 10 so I am currently on 1903. I updated the RedEdit entries and the screen looks like below. Do I need to "upgrade to 2004"?

In terms of my terminology on offline folders, they are folders stored within WLM but not active on my GMAIL server.

    Attachment 294995
That is not the right registry key to be adding those dwords to.
You want to add them to
    Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail

Check out this post LiveMail Toast After Update

Thanks. Sorry for my error. It now works.

Is it recommended to reinstall the latest Windows 10 or stay where I am?

Also, got frustrated and installed eMClient and seems to be working fine. Migration for both email and contacts worked great. The only issue, is that I had to recreate my Group Contacts, but was easy.

    Appreciate everyone's efforts and support.

It's also possible to store your e-mails in a folder of your preference with WLM but by default, the installer will put it somewhere almost impossible to find by a human. And so, it escapes the attention of the user and manual back up processes.
I put my WLM folders in "Documents\e-mails". To make a back up of the e-mails, I just copy-paste the whole folder.

For re-installation, however, it's more complicated than with Thunderbird. You have to export settings. With the problem that setting files may not be compatible from one version to another.

ClassicChevyGuy Your RegEdit look OK. I don't know if you need to upgrade, Just try.

The registry fix does not work for me. I followed the instructions exactly and I’m comfy editing in there if need be.
Not sure what to do now

That's terrific. I just built a new system and have lost Livemail altogether. They pulled the download recently so I can't get it back. I bought Outlook and nothing but issues. To be fair, it's only been since this morning.

Almost...........I went thru the whole install and then it stops dead and says it can't be installed. Get help link takes you the MS site. Dang, I believe it's gone for good once you have a new PC.

It eventually ends up back to a sign in page that says temporarily out of service. Click more info takes one to the exact page I hit earlier.

Toast......gawwwddd..............help us now. Why, moving forward, is everything so lousy?
I believe they need to make any changes possible to sell more stuff. Not better, just different. Sell more.
