    Unable to install any extension for new Edge (Edge Dev) and Edge Bera


    Hi Peeps,

    Fresh install of Win 10 2004. Having downloaded both Edge Beta and Edge Dev. I am unable to install any extensions.

    The error message states: Download was not a valid extension or user script I can;t find any reference to this on the web.

    I've tried a variety of extensions and I get the same error on all of them. Has anyone seen this before?

    As a workaround, managed to install the required extension from the Chrome store.

    I will stand corrected but I thought that 2004 came with Edge 81.0.416.72, which is the Chromium based Edge, so why would you wish to install Beta and Dev Edge

    I feel reasonably certain if you used the version above you would not have had the problem.

Hi all I am trying to install new edge based chromium browser but it throwing below error 267608 Event Viewer 267609 Windows version no. 267610 I tried it on 4-5 systems.
There is an Edge extension that I use every day, but it affects performance when it is on. Can I turn the extension on and off in settings as often as I like without causing any problems in Edge?
Some Edge extensions cannot be installed on my Windows 10 Professional. They report that they require Windows 10 version 15063 or higher. I am on the Anniversary update. How come they cannot be installed?

Now that Edge has extensions, I wanted to give it a new try. I sync my bookmarks with Xmarks (between IE and chrome so far). I installed the xmark Extension, but it looks like it is not an extension to Edge, but a win app (I can see my bookmarks...
Hi, Is there any extensions on edge browser. As of yet and does anyone know when there will be some come available. Thanks
