Hello, For some strange reason as of this morning I now have to completely sign in to check my email. When I do I check the box "Stay Signed In For Two Weeks" and so I think everything is okay, but nope. Can someone please give me a detailed explanation on how I can fix this? It surely must be easy. Are you using an installed E-Mail Client or Webmail/Online E-Mail? I use online with my Domain and with my ISP. My Hosting service that provides SmarterMail has no problem saving the login and opening the program but my ISP's MagicMail program requires clicking the login every time, apparently just the way the program and their setup works.
Berton, I am a little confused about that. I don't know if it is an installed E-Mail Client or Webmail/Online E-Mail. All I can say is that it is AT&T. My name@sbcglobal.net address. Yahoo. Sorry for the confusion on my part. What can we do? I believe it is an Email Client.
Yahoo is an Online/Webmail feature used in the Browser while sbcglobal.net should be your ISP/Internet Service Provider. I would say Yahoo may be the issue [a couple of my clients had trouble with it]. An E-Mail Client would be Microsoft Outlook, Thunderbird, IncrediMail [now shut down], the older Outlook Express, the free OE Classic, etc., a program installed on the computer.

You must be using a browser to sign into Yahoo and not an email client (proram on your pc to access email)
So it's likely to be a browser cookie handling issue.
Which browser are you using?
Edge, Chrome, Firefox or something else?
Maybe your cookies are being deleted. That can be due to a program or browser plugin that clears them, a browser setting that is not retaining them, or a bad cookie file.

It does sound like cookies are being cleared. If the same thing happens in Edge and Firefox (and you have checked that both aren't set to delete history on closing) then perhaps something else is responsible?
Have you recently installed of changed the settings of anything else? A third-party antivirus or perhaps? what anti virus do you use?
Or do you have a cleaner such as CCleaner set to run automatically?
You can use Firefox password manager if you like:
Set it to remember passwords and auto login.
Firefox. Tools> Options> Privacy and Security
Also check cookie clearance settings.
If you have installed any kind of system optimizer or system cleaner types of program - check settings for those.
