    Edge Chromium

I installed Edge chromium 2 weeks ago and uninstalled it but when I am trying to install it again it's telling me Microsoft Edge works best with the latest Windows updates but there aren't updates available and I checked all day but no updates are appearing and I cannot install The new Edge browser now.

    Hi Edward.

Think the first thing I would do is run a Windows Update reset.

Reset Windows Update in Windows 10

It might help us all if you told us why you uninstalled it, was it giving you errors?

Hi Ken, thanks for the reply. I uninstalled it because I installed it just to try it out but I use other browsers so I uninstalled it but I want to try it again. I tried uninstalling a windows update and when I checked for it on windows update it found it and installed it again so I don't think its windows update problem. I downloaded the edge Chromium beta version and installed without any problem only the stable version is not installing. Anyways when the big windows 10 update arrives this month I will be doing a fresh windows 10 install.

    Edward,

This may be a silly idea, but maybe try getting the old Edge back and then installing the Chromium Edge to recreate the initial "upgrade" process. It might not work but at least it's worth a shot. This article explains how to get the old Edge back: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dep...ccess-old-edge

Hi Reborn, I tried that link but I got confused what I do hehe, but I searched more and found out this website https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge/business/download and downloaded the old stable version and worked and edge chromium updated to the latest stable version as well. Thanks for the help.
