A problem with the default mail reader

The OS is Win 10 Home 64 bit. I have been using Dream Mail client for years. It is the only client that I found so far that I can setup the 3 email accounts that I have and keep the emails separate from each other. I am having a problem setting the default email app. When I click on the mail icon it only shows the Win default mail icon and "look for an app in the store". See the attached picture. Lets say I am looking up an Amateur Radio Operator's call on QRZ.com using Firefox and I want to send him/her an email. The persons email address is posted along with the rest of the persons info (if they choose to have it displayed) anyways When I click on the email address, I want it to open Dream Mail client. Win won't do that and I don't know how to make Dream Mail the default client, let alone make Win even see Dream Mail right now. Right now I have to manually copy and past the email address into Dream Mail. I could use some help please.

BTW you have to have an Amateur Radio license to get into QRZ.com and look at a person's info.

    Steve

On Dream Mail, yes as far as a link in the email goes. I can set it as far as what web browser to open. And internal setting to set it as the default email client gos. I haven't seen one.

Thank you for your reply. The choice is yours. Dreammail appears to be Chinese.. Softpedia makes this comment:

DreamMail interface, but you can also access a RSS reader. This is probably the best time to point out that the latest versions of the app have various Chinese UI elements. Unfortunately, the same goes for the app's installer.

I tried one installer for it- Avira flagged it. Might be a false positive.. From softpedia appears clean though.

Yes it is Chinese but so far it is the only 1 that I have found that does what I need. Now I haven't looked at other email clients in many, many a blue moon and they may have upgraded and got better.

Presumably you haven't downloaded the portable version, and you have installed it, have you?

    Home page
    DreamMail Pro(DM Pro)邮箱客户端,集邮箱管理,邮件收发、批量群发、阅读追踪,客户管理于一身!

The EN option at the top doesn't seem to function.
Using Google translate on it gives very poor results. There is a community.. but..

Starting the installer is enough to put me off:

    It wants to install to D: - I don't have a D: partition!

I have a D: drive in a external USB case. I know how to get around it wanting to install to the D: drive. I will post the instructions later after I get back from the grocery store. I am a senior and seniors and the disabled get to go to the head of the line between 6am to 10am pdt.

Oh, I can select a folder from that dialogue.. point is such aberrant behaviour does not give me confidence in installing it unless i was using a throwaway VM. So I'm not going to, sorry.
