printer margins in inches not cm

just recently installed Windows 10 v2004 preview. but both Chrome and Firefox browsers are showing printer margin settings in inches not cm. Print preview in chrome shows margins in inches yet the page is set to A4. I've check me Dell 3330dn laser printer settings and default page size is A4. I've had this problem before and I think it got corrected by changing the page size from letter to A4. but its set at that already.

my Windows 10 was installed from Windows10_InsiderPreview_Client_x64_en-gb_19041.iso so thats british english ISO not american english. I let Windows detect and install the printer driver for my Dell. I do have the install .exe but I just need the driver and nothing else.

Firefox installed 75.0 win64 EME-free en-GB, again print preview shows margins in inches not cm.

page setup in Notepad shows paper size A4 and margins in millimetres.

Please see my screenshot, Control Panel, Region, Additional Settings and as then on the screenshots, except on the part to the right, it is Apply and OK after you have made the change to metric or US etc and then apply and Ok on the window to the left.
When you next go Print Preview you will see it has changed.

It's possible you may need to restart or sign off and back on. Chrome and FF, and others, take their settings from the OS/user settings, and a cache or something has not been refreshed with your metric settings. No way for me to test, it's a theory only.

just done a reboot. cleared browser cache. still chrome displaying inches for margins. its a print preview. you use the mouse to adjust the margins so don't actually type in the margin values.

I do not have any other suggestions.
It being a Insider preview, albeit, close to general release which I think is in late MAY
Your problem may attract more positive replies in the Insider forum
I have suggested it be moved.

I credit this post from Opera forums for showing me the solution: is there any way to change print margin in opera into metrics? | Opera forums
