firefox and https

    firefox and https


    have the latest firefox installed but https web pages do not work on even the latest insider update.
    doesn't work desktop comp which is win 10 ver 1511 build 10586.63
    this has been going on a few weeks now.
    uninstalled it and reinstalled same problem also tried some solutions from their website that didn't work
    but when I use pale moon I don't have any problems and seamonkey and edge work

    Had same same issue. What is your anti-virus? Mine was Eset and it caused the issue. Turn off the web part of your A/V and see if it goes away.

    on here defender
    desktop has eset smart security 9
    tried with pause protection and pause firewall made no difference

    Open ESET> F5 to enter advanced setup> Web and Email > SSL/TLS- disable

    just tried that and now web page not load on Yahoo
    comes up saying the connection has timed out

    rebooted comp and stared firefox and now works on that site

    just tried same site on firefox on here and for some reason it now working on here
    eset not on here

    You're welcome. That answer was direct from Eset so it is the official solution. I fought it for a week before I emailed them.

    I was on their forum and they said to re enable SSL/TLS did that and firefox working normally all day
      My Computer

    Hmmmm.... Not sure how/why that could be. There's been no version upgrade to Nod32. Will try it though. Thanks!
