Where is the best please to download the latest good version of Firefox (without getting all the other URL, junk, Viruses, programs that are sometimes associated with a Firefox link).

Thanks for your comments. V/r Cliff M. acmanten
Right from the source itself, even check if your version is up to date. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/

YW, always be update from Menu bar in Firefox, Help, About Firefox, check for updates unless you installed the maintenance service then done automatically or checked in Firefox options to update auto.

It is out of Beta,k it is a RC2 build now. For about 8 years I used nothing but Nightly Builds of Firefox, but I finally had enough of it. I love Beta testing , if I didn't I would not be using Insider Builds of Windows 10.
It should go final either today or Monday.

O.k. i never used Nightly but heard about it. Guess i think of beta like with other software, but if this is what you do or like to do, plus using insider builds.

Over the past 5 years of having Firefox BETA on one PC and Firefox Release version on another, there's very little difference between the two. Firefox does incremental weekly updates/enhancements, so there really no "shock" to the user or to our computers/O.S..

In fact, a high-security U.S. Government website that I use for official tasks has printed across the top. "Do Not Use Microsoft Browsers. They will not work properly with our encryption. Instead, use Firefox, or Chrome." I used Firefox Beta 41 today and it worked like a charm deep inside the portal.gov system. Tried Edge for the heck of it, but it became dysfunctional, just 5 minutes into the session.
