    I am having the same bookmark problems in BOTH Chrome and Firefox.


    I have had bookmark problems in Chrome - bookmarks and bookmark folders duplicating themselves many times and reappearing after being deleted. This was so frustrating and after searching forums could not find a solution that corrected the problem. Out of frustration switched to Firefox. The same problems occurred there.
    Am at my wits end at how to solve the bookmarks problem. Can anyone please advise their opinion/solution to this problem that is affecting BOTH browsers?

    Thanks for your reply Jacee
    I tried the recomended solution in that thread with no luck.
    If the xmark files are in fact corrupted, can I delete them and will they be replaced by a backup xmark file?
