Firefox intermittently hangs when loading websites

I have latest version of Firefox..74.0...and have noticed Firefox hangs when i try to reload a website..such as BBC Iplayer and see in top left side three dots continously cycle back and forth and this occurs intermittently.

I can use Firefox for say and hour and close it and re-open it then i see the three horizontal dots moving back and forth and wait for about 1-2 minutes and try to open a website nothing happens then suddenly the website loads.

I have used Firefox is safe mode but still experience this problem and regularly clean cache,cookies etc..

The only thing that has changed is my Virgin Media router hub..from the previous black router hub to a white one due to power supply being faulty.

Any ideas anyone?

I installed Opera browser to see if similar symtoms to Firefox occurs...yes .

Totally puzzled.What i have noticed at bottom left side of Firefox are various loading parameters..too fast to read any but did
notice ..performing tls handshake...loading googleaplas...something like that and others.

Sorry for late reply Jacee...i think it is something to do with Firefox checking website verification certificates to make users don't access dodgy websites through Performing TLS Handshake..and some other loading checks ...as i said..i think...as i am not that technical.

On my Asus desktop pc with Windows 10 Pro with latest updates this is what experience as other users may not experience this issue.

I will do some further investigation...Oh by the way if install Firefox Beta Version 75 ..would this overwrite my existing Firefox

74..or would this install in a completely separate folder ?

Try turning hardware acceleration off in the browser and see if that fixes it.
