    Chromium based Edge seems buggy

Has anyone downloaded the new Edge from Microsoft? It has been downloaded and installed on most of all of my family's PC's by me. But at times, it can seem really buggy. For example, I am a Verizon Wireless customer and when I log into the website at Verizon and X out of the program and open back up the program, it doesn't log me out of Verizon like IE, the old Edge, or Chrome does.

Any fixes to make it seem less buggy and to help it run and do better?

You should always log out of a site before you close Edge.

You can look at Settings-System and make sure Continue running background apps is off.
Iontinue running background apps when Microsoft Edge is closed

Whilst you can download Edgium now it is still effectively in Beta until officially coming in Windows updates.

Web Browsers take years to develop, you cannot expect instant fixes.
Chrome took 2 years + to become reasonably free of bugs.

The release version of Edge is running the same Chromium version as Chrome.
The Chromium project is where all the work is done including security fixes.

    The rest is just fluff.
