    Sent emails are not being received


    I'm new to the forum and am looking for any help regarding an issue that started a few days ago. I am able to receive email messages, but when I send anything, it is only reflected in my sent file, but never reaches any recipients. I use a local email service, GVTC webmail, and their tech advised me the problem was in my computer. I have run Norton scan and no threats were detected. I have rebooted several times to no avail. Very frustrating. Any tips/solutions will be greatly appreciated.

    Have you a gmail account to test with ?

    try sending from one to the other and see what happens.

    I worked with a lady several years ago with E-Mail issues, turned out she was using a CRT monitor and sufficiently blurring couldn't tell a comma had been entered where it should have been a period. Amazing how a simple thing can cause issues/grief.

    So as it turns out, this morning I got a message to update Windows 10 and restart. After that, I have been able to send emails that, apparently, are being received. Maybe Windows discovered there was an issue and fixed it?? I had previously restarted several time with to no avail. Anyway, go figure. Thanks for all your help.
