Copying favorites from Firefox to MS Edge

Have just this last week upgraded/updated to W10 from the MS site itself. (Version 1909)
(yep, the free offer from them is still there, you just got to know how to download it!).
I'm messing around at the moment with this "new" Microsoft Edge.
By the way, l can still access my Firefox and IE icons so whatever happens, or not, l can still get onto the internet.
So, cannot import FF favorites into MS Edge. It only gives me the options of either IE explorer or an html file.
Go into IE and it only gives me the option of the Safari browser to import.
How do l get all of my FF favorites into MS Edge?
    It's getting a bit confusing.
Just to let you know, l am a complete beginner in all of this so make the answer easy to follow if at all possible.
    Thanks and regards.

Unfortunately Edge doesn't allow for the import of FF favourites, yet anyway.

    You should:
    1. Export from FF to either IE or Chrome
    2. Import into Edge, the export from step 1 above.

Aaaarg! Thanks for the quick reply Golden.
Just knew you were going to say something like that (ha ha).
Hold on just a minute, IE will only let me download from Safari
but Edge will download from IE.
I'll open Safari, and import from FF.
Then open IE and import from Safari.
Then open Edge and import from IE.
Thanks for your post, it's made me think about options available.
Why Edge cannot import FF, who knows.
    Kind Regards

Using Chrome as the intermediary may be quicker.....just another option.

You dont ever have to open IE to import. You EXPORT to IE FROM within FF.

Blimmin; long winded but downloaded Chrome and imported FF favorites.
Opened Edge and imported all of them.
Everything now ok so am off to play around with Edge to tailor it to how l want.
    Thanks for that Golden.

    That's odd as in build Version 80.0.361.48 (Official build) (64-bit) the option is there;

Interesting ideas. I just now used Firefox's Bookmarks, Show all bookmarks, Import and Backup to Export as an HTML file, saved it to Documents then used Edge's Import from file and pointed to that bookmarks.html file, worked good. I'd think setting that file as a Home page would also work, could even be stored on a Thumb drive for portability.

EDIT: forgot to add the list of Favorites/Bookmarks are all clickable.
