    Mail not showing under Settings->Notifications

Hiya, I am facing a weird problem. In Settings -> Notifications & actions, I don't see the Mail option. I see Calendar though.
@Access Denied tried his level best to troubleshot this issue for me but no luck. Please see below post for the message exchanges with him.
    eM Client Notifications

Since the earlier thread is dedicated to emClient, I thought of opening a new thread for the Mail issue I am facing.
My Windows 10 version is 1909

Found something else that might help:

"In the MAIL application itself if you click on the gear for settings and you select Manage Accounts you need to select the email account you have a concern with and then select "Change Mailbox Sync Settings". To get notifications to appear in in the action center and change the notification icon in the system tray you need to make sure that the selection option for "Download New Email" is set to "As items Arrive".

Also you can try uninstalling Mail totally, and then installing it again.

Guess uninstalling and installing only remains as the last option to try. I have a feeling even that will also fail :)

I did have an issue with it saying my Gmail account had issues a while back. It took a total uninstall and reinstall to fix it. Best of luck

If after uninstall and reinstall, it still does not show. I would use a removal tool to completely remove all traces when uninstalling. Geek Uninstaller - Download is free and what I use mostly. Also Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download - Uninstall software, remove programs, solve uninstall problems is good and I have it too lol.

Update: Uninstalled Mail, restarted system and then again installed it via MS Store, the bugger still refuses to show up under Notifications and actions, phew!
I will now try with Geek uninstaller and it will be last attempt from our end for today...hahaha.

okay, tried this one too...its still absent from notifications & actions! That's it, we both have had enough hours invested in this already. I just tried via outlook and it is showing up, plus notifications working great, I will stick to it for now. Hopefully by some miracle Mails will also show up some day...lol.

My last and only other suggestion would be a repair install of Win10. Mail not showing under Settings->Notifications-shrug.gif

Nah, I will pass.. lol.. it's really not worth doing that just to fix issue with one app :)
Can I just check one thing with you? I have Gmail server side rules set to route mails to different labels skipping the Inbox. Are the notifications shown in that case as in mails not appearing in inbox but other labels/custom folders?

If I have it to skip the inbox from filters on gmail.com, no notification.

Spot on, many thanks for the pointer mate That was the root cause behind the notifications not showing up since I had the filters set on Gmail server to skip inbox (archive it) and apply labels depending on mail origin. Now that I modified the filter, mails are landing in my Inbox and I am getting notified as well via Win 10 Mail App
Also, Mail is now showing up in Settings > Notifications & actions

Mail not showing under Settings->Notifications-image.pngMarking this thread as 'solved'. Thanks again!
