How to revert back to the basic Edge from Chromium

I recently installed Edge Chromium but find I cannot do a lot of things that I could with the Edge I first had set up.

One problem for example is that one cannot use Paint to edit pictures as you used to be able to so I would like to go back to the plain Edge.
    Any advice gratefully appreciated.

I'm curious, what does edge have to do with paint?

You may want to reconsider your plan and instead ask for advice on how to make things possible with Edge-Chromium?
I'm not trolling you ofc. but Edge-Chromium is in many ways so better than store app browser, and I have some feeling it will not be available for ever.

Well zebal I cannot use Paint the way I used to use it right click on a picture or snip and I don't get an option to use Paint to edit the thing.

I agree I don't mind the new Edge Chromium but for one or two things it doesn't work for me.

That's odd, I have Edge-Chromium but not the issue you are having, unless I'm missing something?

Choose: Open with -> Choose another app -> search for paint and select paint executable click OK
Do not select "Always open with this app" if you do not want this

    Now try again "Open with"

Hmm strange thing my snips and pics now open with a left click to Paint after I changed the Settings to Paint for Pictures something odd going on and I guess i will eventually track it down.

But wasn't that what you wanted?
    You can revert this easily:

The point is that you now have "paint" on the list of "open with" menu.

Hello zebal now before I used to right click then choose Paint but a left click now automatically opens a snip or image such a shame because I do like the Chromium as it is so much faster but they have changed the rules somewhat.
