    Casting With Edge Chromium

Installed the new Edge Chromium the other day and was wondering, is it not possible to cast to a Chromecast yet? I have tried many times and it cannot find any of my devices as to where Chrome finds them all. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the help Edwin. I went to the flags page and enabled the section that it said to and still Edge cannot find any devices.

Its a known bug so they disabled it, mines stop working till I did this last week (still works after todays Dev update).

"Thanks for reaching out. At this time, issues with casting are part of a known bug. Here's a workaround from one of our PMs:

Enable edge://flags/#load-media-router-component-extension (paste this into the address bar, select Enabled for the option) and restart the browser."

That did it, I swear I have tried that numerous times with no luck but this time it worked. Thanks to all for helping.

I gave up using the old Edge to cast and I'm surprised there are still problems. Chrome casts fine - yet another reason to stay with Chrome.
