poor screen capture in Chrome and Edge (Chromium based)

    poor screen capture in Chrome and Edge (Chromium based)


    I recently switched to the Chromium based version of Edge.

    Screen captures using the snipping tool, and the full-screen grab (windows key + print screen) both look bad. Pastels go to white, etc.

    The same thing happens in Chrome.

    It does not happen in Internet Explorer 11, and it didn't happen in the non-Chromium Edge browser.

    Is this a bug, or an intellectual property protection feature?

I just installed Edge Chromium on one PC. I'm surprised the casting functionality hasn't improved. Edge doesn't find my TV or Chromecast. It does find my Fire Stick but can't cast to it. More work needed MS!
