I still haven't any negative experience browsing with latest Edge, I have installed Brave in a Mac and now that I switch to Windows 10, I prefer to continue with Brave.

It took a while to find out how to do that.
    1. On the Edge extensions page, scroll down and on bottom right toggle on ALLOW EXTENSIONS FROM OTHER STORES.
    2. Then, in a move that isn't the least bit intuitive until you've tried it -- surf to the Google Chrome Web Store, find your extension, click where it says 'Add to Chrome' and then MAGICALLY it will say, 'Add to Edge' lol
I found UBlock with Adblocker from Chrome actually blocks ads where the Edge Adblocker let some slip thru
Yes, it took a bit of exploring to figure it out but you've described the exact process. The add-ons/extensions takes seconds to install so you can do quite a few in short session. Only Aaaargh is that youtube downloaders are blocked.

I've been running the Edge Dev preview on one of my machines for two month now. It is a total redesign, nothing like the old Edge at all. Seems to be as good as any other popular browser now.
AGREE ! I've been on Edge Canary, the nightly update, for many months. The few issues I posted feedback on were addressed within days with a followup message too ! Last one was the browser crashing when I tried to Clear History and crashing again on restart if I tried to restore pages. That one bedeviled them for 3 days and it's fixed on the new Edge too.

I am impressed so far - I am a die hard Firefox user but of course was interested to try the "new" Edge and see what the fuss was about. I really like the ability to save cookies you want/use and bail the rest. This is what kept me from using the old Edge much, I had the old one set to delete everything on exit but that made forums a pain. I never used the old version much

I am interested enough to play with it more, it always takes a while to "find and customize" at least it looks as though they have left some things to the user (finally). - Bill

I installed it and like it, however, each time I exit, it shows an error on Windows Reliability Report. I am using Vivaldi (Chromium-based) which does not do this. Strange MS browser isn't as reliable to Windows 10 as another browser! For now, I will continue to use Vivaldi, with Edge, Firefox and Chrome as backups. Hopefully Edge will get there in the future.......

    Like Windows 10?

They rushed the new Edge out the door, IMHO.

Do people find Edge Chromium is better than Chrome by Google and if so, why?

    Hi there

hate stuff without menus in any case.

FF IMO is still streets ahead -- at least FF comes in user installable languages too

so for me this is the best place for this browser !!! (although fortunately we all have choices (still).

When originally announced, I thought great, the best of IE, (shell integration), and all the comforts of chrome, (little play on words there!)...,

    not to be!

In all my naivete, I really didn't think it would be solely tethered to MS and MS services!

    Flushed!
