Anyone else getting this message recently. It started around 3 days ago having never happened before and so I'm guessing it started with the last but one update. Have updated to latest stable build and am still seeing it. It appears every time I start the PC and open Edge. Just closing Edge and opening it again doesn't trigger the notification. Edge is always fully closed before the PC is shut down. I have 'Fast Boot' turned OFF.

    Running Windows 10 Home 20H2 19042.844

Edge auto updated to version 89.0.774.45 this morning and now I'm getting an entry that only shows up in the "View All Problem Reports" section of "Reliability History". Seems to appear randomly.

Best guess is that it has something to do with javascript? Googling the exact wording of the entry doesn't help. In any event, everything seems to be working okay.

As a test I used 'Sleep' instead of Shutdown and no message. The only reason I have Fast Start disabled is because it doesn't play nicely with 'Nightlight'.

After posting about this on the MS forums it seems there is a newly introduced setting within Edge...

Thanks Shawn For me and the issue of this notification appearing began around 3 or 4 days ago. Edge updated yesterday after a manual peek to where it was up to and the 'problem' was still present and so I figured it must go back at least one more update.

(I tend not to constantly look at Edge updates and just leave it to its own devices)

I have done one shutdown and reboot so far with it turned off and no message. Yay. Tomorrows another day though.

I am on Edge Stable 89.0.774.45 with startup-boast on and it is working great.
I had a couple sites like Facebook that were slow to load compared to FF, but it is fine now.
