Latest Microsoft Edge released for Windows

    Edge says I'm on Version 87.0.664.66 (Official build) (64-bit).
    It also says it's up to date which it obviously isn't.
    Does it not get updated via Win 10 updates or do I need to carry out a specific Edge update.

    I take it this is the new Chromium based Edge. You have the latest stable channel build. It doesn't use Windows Update, it has it's own updater which is automatic, but you can do it manually by going to the Help>About page and check for updates.

    There is a new button in the Web capture tool (Canary):
    Latest Microsoft Edge released for Windows-touch-button-200-crop.png
    But I'm not sure what it's for, maybe it enables some kind of optimization for touch devices.

    One of the Edge developers (Vyankatesh Gadekar, Senior PM at Microsoft Edge) has explained on Twitter the purpose of the new button:
    This new "Draw with touch" option is to enable/disable inking with finger. Handy for users who want to ink with pen and scroll with touch. It can also be seen in other Microsoft apps supporting inking.

    PS, I just remembered that that button was also available in Edge legacy:
