Yes, I do have AOMEI backups but as that programme was also dumped by MS, it is one of the ones I have to get back!

I have 20161.1000 installed in a Hyper-V VM.
I had upgraded from the previous insider version then found that the C:\Program Files (X86) was empty, so I did a Reset (from the Cloud) which worked great.
Now when I look at Edge in the Taskbar it looks like the old, non-Chromium icon.
and indeed when I look at About (old style) it is the old Edge, not the new Chromium based version.
How the hell did this get into 2004 20161.1000? Where is the new Chromium based Edge?
I'm going to backup the VM (save a copy of the .vhd) then do a Clean Install of 2004 20161.1000 and see what that gives me. Not sure it's worth it though as a Reset basically did a Clean Install.

Hi folks!
I was auto-updated to the new Edge this weekend. Strangely, when I checked the "About Microsoft Edge" page the version number was 81.0.416.86. At that point Edge automatically started updating to the latest version (83.0.476.58).
The Microsoft Edge release notes page doesn't have an entry for 81.0.416.86. It goes to 81.0.416.77 and then skips to 83.x.x.x. Anyone else seeing this too?
