When is MS going to push the new Edge via Windows Update? There is no sign of it on my PCs.
Not sure what you mean, but Edge updated for me when I went to Help and feedback > About Edge.

It was also mentioned by Berton in post #774

I haven't manually installed Edge Chromium. My understanding is that MS plan to roll out Edge Chromium to replace the 'standard' version of Edge via Windows Update but this hasn't happened yet on my PCs.

Any reason you're waiting for it to come via Windows Update? It's been available for a while now and its rock solid and fast

As of now you have to install it yourself. AFAIK it hasn't been added to Windows Update yet.

I believe that once the new Edge is installed updates for it become available via Windows Update. Perhaps others can confirm...?

You can "confirm" by viewing your update history. That said, I've not seen any Edge Chromium updates come through Windows Update. And I just Edge yesterday and it's not showing in update history.

Updates for new Edge doesn't come from Windows Update, but instead through Edge itself. Possibly through the 'Microsoft Edge Update' that's installed with it. As of its availability, for some reason it's not pushed on Windows Update to everyone yet (not sure why), but what I did was to click on 'search' on the taskbar, and at the bottom was a button to install it. I really like the new Edge, it's super fast and stable!

OK, thanks for clarifying. The point I wanted to make to the OP is that Chromium Edge does update automatically. He mentioned that it "updates too much", but in my experience the user doesn't have to keep checking for updates.
