And I think they are available in all versions.
Any way to get more than seven quick links?

Currently not, but it's one of the planned features

This feature is now hidden behind a flag, one of Edge's developers has explained this on Reddit:

    Hi everyone,

Today's Canary update (which just went live) reverts this behavior and puts it behind a feature flag.

You can re-enable the behavior using the flag, Omnibox UI Hide Steady-State URL Subdomains Beyond Registrable Domain

This flag will remain disabled by default while we continue to think about the right implementation here, including when to hide URL components, which components to hide by default, settings to control the behavior, etc.

We are taking into account the feedback in this thread and the feedback submitted through the Microsoft Edge feedback tool as we think through this.

On behalf of the Address Bar team, thank you again for the thoughtful discussion and the feedback! We appreciate it!

A clarification on what the Microsoft developer said in that post, the flag that he mentions by itself does not re-enable the behavior, that is, doesn't hide "HTTPS" and "WWW" in the omnibox, that flag must be used in conjunction with others and it's a flag that has been available in Chrome and Edge for quite some time, well, today Microsoft has added the correct flag:

This flag is exclusive to Edge, it is not available in Chrome and was added today in the Canary version.

    edge://flags/#forced-colors
@Cliff S; did Edge Chromium remove the "edge://flags/#force-color-profile"? Because I can't seem to find it now. I see forced-colors, but not force-color-profile.

My issue is that after upgrading to 2004, Edge seems to have reverted back to it's dull color settings

    Thanks.

I haven't used it in a while, but just checked, yep it's gone.
I stopped using it because some sites rendered really bad with it turned on.
That and the forced colors too.

Just found the feature has been removed in the 84 build - Chrome 84: Google is bringing back ‘Force Color Profile’ flag. Should be coming back though.

The workaround in Option 2 works by adding "-force-color-profile=srgb" (without quotes) in the target line of the shortcut. You'll need to restart edge for the effects to take place.

    "Previews" in the NTP tiles:

When you click on any of the news, it opens in a new tab. You can disable these "previews" in the ellipsis menu:
