    Update: This is also available in the Dev. and Beta versions so it's not that new, I only noticed the flag until today (the flag is disabled by default).

    That would be terrible! I use the backspace key often and the last thing I need is to have it taking me back though web pages.

    Who would want this, and why? All I can see is an incredible annoyance.


    Live and learn. Turns out I already have (and have had for quite some time apparently) that feature in Seamonkey and probably in Firefox as well. I guess that explains why I sometimes jump back a page or two.


    Now I need to figure out how to disable it in Seamonkey/Firefox.

    It's not enabled by default. Just another option for those that may want it.

    In Canary, now WWW and HTTP are hidden in the omnibox by default:
    Latest Microsoft Edge released for Windows-url-dev-can-vs.png

    This change was made in Chrome some time ago and it was quite controversial, you have to double click on the omnibox to show these two elements:

    Yes I dont like this as we need the correct url for work. Is there a way to restore it?
